    What a summer!

I have not gone, nor am I dead

I’ve not been here for weeks.

So many things now fill my head

I fear I’ll soon spring leaks.

    I’ve been to missions near

    and far

And seen friends new and old.

    I’ve been by car

    in places hot and cold.

Even when I’ve been near home

I’m oft too tired to stand

My life is full with work and fun

    with children prime NoelMichel

    and grand.

Oh, fear not friends for what’s become

    of Jimmish as of late.

He’s running strong, by God’s good grace

    but fullish is his plate.

“We don’t (now) see (God’s world) clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright!
We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us!
But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation:

Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly.

And the best of the three is love.”

    1 Cor 13:12,13 The Message

    Love richly, friends

  • RYC: Yeah, the “dry heat” comments don’t sit well with me either. My response is, “It’s dry in my oven, too, but I don’t want to be in it all day!

Is that the church in Mexico? One of the docs at the border hospital I go to told me one day I needed to go to Mexico for 3 months and learn the language. It made me think of you and your travels.

  • @Breath_Of_Dawn - It is, indeed the church in Mexico (Reynosa).

  • Looks busy and blessed. I hope it continues so.

  • I know I have seen this post, but it must have been in my digest, and I didn’t click on to comment.  Your twin grandbabies are just adorable.  You have had a busy summer!  Any chance of a calmer fall?
