Whew! It’s been hectic around here…
Noelle is finally home from Spain (for a couple weeks), and
we’re in the throes of last-minute preparations for Christmas
(which include assembling a “care package” for Noelle to
take to her sister, Rachel, when she visits her Dec. 30th).
Certainly not the least of our attentions have been diverted by
the arrival of Emma and Braden Smallish;
twins born to my daughter-in-law and son..
super kudos to Matt’s wife, Kristy..
it was a tough pregnancy, capped off
by Emma turning breech AFTER her brother was born,
and necessitating a C-section.
Mega kudos to God, for keeping
Kristy and the twins safe.
I should have some time to “Xanga” now.
will be stopping by all your sites to say hi…
blessings…jim
(by the way; more Christmas music has been added
)

Passing thru and wishing you a very joyous Christmas!! Congrats on your newest additions to your family!!
Enjoy!!
I’m so happy to read your post! When were the twins born? I didn’t remember when they were due… my son’s wife had her baby last Friday night, December 14 at 7:30 pm. They named him Calvin Eleno (Eleno is the Greek male derivative for Helen, Becky’s mother). So glad you get to have Noelle home for a few days at least! Write me, ok? Merry Christmas, dear one. Gerrie
WOW! muc congrats to Kristy and ALL of you! amazing……best time to be born….
RYC: I miss my poetry too; not sure where it went, but I’d like to find it again
PS: I also thought of you the other day when we had a code at end of shift; as I was one of the first 3 in the room (the pt’s nurse, R.T., and I who grabbed the cart and followed them into the room) I was doing compressions until the ICU nurse took over when I’d had enough (and cracked enough ribs). I thought you guys have much stronger arms than I do.
One good thing about the wt; I don’t look in the mirror and think “fat” anymore
Glad to hear all is well; sorry the C-section was necessary, but at least everyone is safe. Gotta hand it to OB nurses; I tried it, couldn’t do it.
Congradulations Grandpa!
Sounds like a rich and blessed Christmas season for your family
MERRY CHRISTMAS…I HOPE THAT IT IS A GOOD ONE…SMILE
Merry Christmas my friend, glad to read the good news of another birth, too!
