    I’ve “borrowed”  this from thefirstnoelle;
it serves nicely as the prelude to my coming entry,

    MY SUMMER VACATION,

which I’ll be putting up tomorrow a.m.,
as I’m at work and don’t have access to my photos.

“O Mexico, que puedo decir de ti?
    Hay nada, hay nada.
    Solo este–

Que tu gran corazon es un signo del
poder de Cristo, de su amor, y un signo que
se puede tener esperanza en este mundo oscuro

    O Mexico, te amo.”

    translation:

“Oh, Mexico, what what can I say about you?
    There’s nothing, there’s nothing..
    Only this–

That your great heart is a sign of
the power of Christ, of his love, and a sign that
it’s possible to have hope in this dark world.

    Oh Mexico, I love you.”

    blessings…jim

(monday morning….I’m working on it…LOTS of photos to transfer to
    my Xanga files)

  • OK, I can’t translate it, but I do recognize some of it. I really enjoy working by the Mexican border. The people are so genuine, so warm. I’m afraid to go to Mexico though.

  • I did understand the gist of it, but now that I see it, I see how beautiful it is.

  • it is so beautiful…Smile

  • It’s beautiful. Hope to hear from you soon. God bless you with a great week:) Gerrie

  • appreciate your translation!   I read it on hers, but had not the patience with my horrible spanish to try….yes, Mexico has that.  A a mom, really can apprecaite the respect and tenderness they give moms with young kids.  Very very unlike non-hispanic areas in urban usa.  I will never forget their kindness.

    Good to see you post!
