4/2 edit: Ray Brewer is awesome! (more later)
What’s that in the background?
(answer later..hint: sticks and snails)
Okay, it’s one of the things “little boys” (nine year-old ones) do before their grandpas get up.
First, they have a hearty breakfast…
3/4 of a pan of brownies with milk
…then, they stuff and stuff a shirt pocket until they’re pretty sure they’ve set a record for pencil, marker, etc. stuffing (102, to be exact)
after that, it’s time for outdoor activities…
a shovel is essential
…for a worm collection!
and all this by about 9 am!
It’s amazing how well they “clean up ” later when you insist!
It’s been said that if a man of forty had the energy of a child,
he could rule the world….
I’ve never doubted it!
“Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be the very last, and the servant of all.” He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them, ”Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”
(from Mark 9:35-37)
blessings, little friends…jim

Aww, that is cute. What an impish look he has on his face, while in his Sunday suit.

I love the worms! Reminds me of when I was a kid. I used to love to get worms from the garden to go fishing. I thought it was the neatest thing that my grandmother could pinch them in half! Wow, did I admire her for that! You have a great grandson! God bless!
What fun! I enjoyed the joy in both grandson and proud grandpa from beginning to end. Blessings on your Easter Day. Thank you for the update on your daughter in Ghana. Could you please remind me of her Xanga site again? Thansk. Carolyn
Hi Jim ~ I am typing from my other site (instead of C_Just_Bible as above). I am not able to access your daughter’s website for some reason. [http://www.xanga/rockysmalls] Any ideas why? Thanks… you can respond to either site, as I go back and forth!
I hope you had a wonderful Easter day. We did ~ wonderful message in both song and spoken word. Have a great week! ~ Carolyn
