  • Edit:12/26: I just got access to some Polish Christmas
CDs..Beautiful! I’ve added two of the tracks to our
“World Carol Sampler” (at the bottom , of course!)

    This is not a post!

    (sort of)

This is an invitation to enjoy yourselves…
I’ve modified my Christmas Music player, found on the left side of my site,
so that it will shuffle play continually.
I’ve also added a number of new, less familiar songs, including some in Spanish & Gaelic,
as well as others from the Caribbean, Cameroon & South Africa…
    more will follow.
Please feel free to use this to play Christmas music while you’re
    stressing, unstressing, online shopping,
in-home baking or wrapping or protesting the rank commercialism of this time.
My wish is that it will soothe, spark, and enliven your spirit
as you do whatever it is you do each day.

    love to all…jim

    EDIT 12:35 PM ..here’s a link to a remarkable post by a 19 year-old, which I just “came across”.

perhaps not all is lost re: the next generation!

EDIT #2 ..be sure to check out Lance Gallup
    (you know him on Xanga as LeftOverture)’s song, “More Than Just Christmas”,;
    it’s # 36 on the playlist

  • Smart kid, though I suppose 19 is hardly a kid…

  • Jim I’ve been listening all day as I work at my desk crunching numbers and the like and I just wanted you to know that I have, and continue to enjoy your selection of music. God bless you and Merry Christmas my friend

  • Thanks Jim! Really enjoyed your selection…Louise Armstrong was an unexpected treat

  • Just checking in ~ have had no time for xanga fun ~ trying to catch up and visit everyone! Merry Christmas Jim and thanks for sharing great tunes!

  • RYC – the CD has been on hold for several weeks due to business, but it’s going to receive more attention when things calm down after New Year’s. Thanks for asking. And sure, I’d be honored to have you add ‘More…’ to your rotation. .

  • Have a very Blessed Christmas!

    Mike

  • I’ll be back here tommorow to enjoy the music…

  • A little late perhaps, but here’s another one you might want to consider: http://profile.myspace.com/lauracasale - ‘Bring A Torch, Jeannette Isabella’. Very tender… Merry Christmas Jimmish and family!

  • I DON’T KNOW IF ITS FROM THE OVERFLOW OF TEENS OR WHAT, BUT OUR INTERNET HAS BEEN SUPER SLOW SINCE SCHOOL HAS LET OUT…    ;p

HAVA MERRY CHRISTMAS BROTHER JIMMISH…   ;)      greg  <><

  • RYC – I agree. That’s like saying for every black non-raven we see, all raven’s are less likely to be black.
Not knowing is nearly always accurate.

  • Wow, I just watched the video. That’s awesome. I never listen because I don’t get the music in Firefox. But I might just have to go over to IE and give a listen.

  • Where I go to people’s site where they say “the music you hear is….” there is no music. I go to IE and I hear the music playing.

I have both, of course, but I’m usually in Firefox because that’s where all my favorites are and I notice less cookies get put on my computer than with IE. But I think IE may be more versatile, more compatible with more things.

But I’m no computer guru. I think if you have questions about that, Eric would be a good one to ask. He uses both, I think.

  • Happy New year Jim. I look forward to sharing more of your insights on your site in 2007. Blessings, Sarah

  • HAPPY NEW YEAR, JIM! You won’t recognize the name, but this is Carolyn (C_Just_Bible). I have two separate sites to maintain, and have gotten so far behind, that for right now, I am just going around visiting from this site (JusticeMom). Thank you for the gift of the music. I love Christmas music, and am still listening to it! After all, we celebrate Christ year round! Blessings to you. I’m reading from here on up to the most current post, so don’t be surprised if I am responding again. ~ Carolyn
