  • Well, certainly there is true violence and evil the is propegated on the web – unfortunately, with the bill signed by Bush today that authorizes various interrogation techniques (and really does away with the right of Habeus Corpus) on terrorists – and the definition and scope of this law is so broad that it can apply to anyone who does not reasonably support the president.

  • Such beautiful pictures! Thank you for sharing them, and the verses. Truly we can say to our God, “ The earth declares your glory” ! How many times I have been led into worship by seeing our Lord’s creative touch on His world! Have a great week. ~ Carolyn

  • I enjoyed meditating on your pictures and listening to “Shout to the Lord.” Thanks.

  • I have heard Mr. Bennett many times. When our kids were young I stayed at home. To survive i found Dr. Dobson on the radio. He saved my sanity many times!

  • HI Jim, thanks for stopping by my site. (And thanks for giving me the correct spelling of scavenge…I knew mine was wrong but I was just too busy to look it up ) Anyway, I LOVE your fall colors here. California is kinda weak in that area, although it is still my favorite time of year regardless. Your photos and scripture remind me of my best xanga buddy…broncomom. She takes wonderful photos and put them to scripture…always an inspiration. Come back by anytime…

  • Thanks for your compliments of my “feet” picture, I am glad I found it!  Be Blessed….Mike

  • Love the photos and the colors. The depth of God’s beauty is boundless! Living in Florida, I really do miss the changing of seasons! God bless brother!

  • Looks like you live in a wonderful area. *sigh*

I’ll have to take pics of the sunshine when it snows up your way ;)

  • So, are you in the NE of the US? Just curious? Beautiful pics though. I just love nature. Thanks for sharing! God Bless, Martha

  • beautiful pictures. reminds me of what it looks like out my back window.

  • What part of Michigan? My mother grew up there, so I have been around Michigan some.

  • Did you take those pictures? you should enter the photo contests by Angelaware.

    Beautiful fall scenery

  • You are blessed to be surrounded with the God’s nature! =)

  • wonderful pics jim.

ya, theres a tune for it. hammer am7, c2  (w/d string muted), em7, g (w/a string muted) on the verse

    d, c2 (w/d string muted) on the pre-chorus

    g (w/a string muted), d, c2 (w/d string muted) on the chorus

maybe i’ll get a chance to plug something away on it this weekend, or early next week, and i’ll post in on myspace.com/billstoker.

i kind of liked how the melody and rythm turned out, it’s a little different, with an eclectic feel in the verse, a sort of driving feel in the pre-chorus, and a highly percusive feel in the chorus.

  • great pics :)

the song is by Gary Allen…

  • Hmm, perchance I am looking at the college football rankings with a slight green and white tinge. :P Still, though, usually teams don’t jump over other undefeated teams unless they get a win against a really highly-ranked team.  And your pictures are sweet!

  • Thanks Jim for your appreciative comments…I have visited Wichita Falls, KS and lived in Wichita Falls, TX and they are both very windy locales!

Have a great day in Him,

    Mike

  • Those are some awesome pics! Where do you live? Keep me updated from time to time about your son.

  • Muchisimas Gracias Jim :)    You’re right about the growth and change, it’s definitely been a journey.  I love San Antonio too, as you can imagine.  I just moved from the ozarks of Missouri and your BEAUTIFUL pictures just reminded me right now of the beauty of the ozarks.  I like how God can use something like xanga to bless others.  Your site has always made me smile.  I’m glad we randomly found each other’s sites :D

  • Wow,

I can never imagine what you are going through…

I mean, I can’t imagine, how you are handling all of this as a father, having your son sent to war…

I rather change places, and be the son!

    God bless you

    Keep us posted…

  • Hi Jim,

My name is Joe Smith and I just noticed that you subscribed to my site a while ago of this month.  I’m sorry I didn’t notice it sooner, but I’ve not been around lately to do much posting.  Nevertheless, I’m really glad that you did.  I always like to meet new guys and get to know them.  I really like your pictures. It reminds me of down  South.  I use to spend a lot of time in and around Corbin, Kentucky and the mountains and trees were always so good to see.  I want you to feel comfortable to stop back again and leave a comment whenever you feel up to it.  Like I said, I’m glad to meet new friends on Xanga.  Have a good day tomorrow and may the Lord bless you real good.

    Warmly in Christ,

    Joe

    BTW, I enjoyed your music!
