Have I bragged lately about my youngest daughter?

There’s nothing to touch the heart when tired and maybe a touch disappointed after a hard, long,
and not perfect day at work, than to find reassurance that

    a) not all of the next generation is determinedly racing away from God, and

    b) that those you hoped and prayed to help guide seem to be really aiming for God’s heart.

I just noticed this entry on her Xanga from last week.

    http://www.xanga.com/thefirstnoelle/479154016/invisible-children.html

After reading it I am so thankful to God for allowing me the privilege of Noelle in my family.

“But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness
    with their children‘s children– “
    Ps. 103:7

    blessings…Jim

  • I, too, am impressed, not only by that post, but by her latest as well.  She has her head screwed on straight, and more importantly, a heart yielded and “tuned in” to God and His plan for her.  God bless you both:)  Gerrie

  • A great young lady concerned with our world and not about self as so many young ones are today.  You definitely should be proud! She is a doll btw! My kids decided they want to go to Mexico over Christmas break and do something down there to help ….no clue what..I guess I better start researching! I praise God that they are turning their hearts toward Him by wanting to do for others.  It sure is not anything I have done.  They have their typical pre-teen sassy days and hormones and attitudes but we are muddling through that garbage…and I love it when the good things happen:)

  • I can see why you’re proud of her :) She definitely shows signs of solid parenting. Good job!

    RYC: Thank you for that…..

  • God is so great!

  • THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I will do just that and see what I can get started cooking;) Yes, it is sad what the world has come to….Predators everywhere.  Just tell her to be wise with what she shares…my kids get irritated with me when I nag them every time they are on the computer which is RARE, lol..but too bad:)

  • Wow. What a blessing to your heart.

  • Love it when children are such a blessing. In my volunteer work I see such sad children that it gladdens my heart to find happy children.

  • You are blessed It is a great feeling to know that your children are following the right path. God bless you and your family!

  • aaaaaaaaaahh, that is sweet . You are blessed.

  • And your seed will bear fruit!  You have planted the seed and the harvest is coming! You’ve trained em up in the way they should go, and God has promised that when they have grown, that they would not depart!  Praise God for His Holy Spirit!!  Pray for a life changing impact on mine!  Its about 3 weeks away!!  Bless you Jim!!

  • Thanks for your comments, Jim. And it appears that you have every reason to be proud of your daughter. Some forms of pride may be unhealthy, but I believe the fatherly pride that delights in seeing its children walking in the ways of the Lord is surely to be commended.

  • What a great feeling to know your children have such solid roots in the Lord!!

You have a  right to  be proud and thankful for having her…You ARE blessed..

  • There aren’t too many things that can make us happier than seeing our kids “get it” and start their own walk with God:)  I know it is all His grace, no matter, but wow, it is soooo good to see those things…Good job bro
